Chad Tourist and Business Visas
Visa First can help you to obtain your visa to Chad – tourist or business visa, depending on your needs.
The visa is granted for 3 months from the date it’s been issued and allows stay of 1 month for Single Entry or 3 months for multiple Entries.
To apply for your Tourist visa you will need:

To apply for your Tourist visa you will need:
- Original passport, valid for at least 6 months beyond intended stay in Chad with at least 1 blank visa page
- 2 completed and signed visa application forms (N.B. Please be advised that because the visa will be processed in France, you need to complete the French application form. We have provided you with a translation of the application form for your convenience)
- 2 recent passport sized photos on white background
- Copy of flight confirmation showing onward / return travel
- Copy of hotel booking confirmation
- 2 copies of letter from the applicant's employer confirming employment. This letter must:
- Be on company letterhead paper
- Include the name of the applicant
- Confirm that the applicant is an employee of the company
- Specify the purpose of journey
- State the applicant's expected return to work date
- Be signed by the applicant's supervisor or their HR department
- 6.1. - If student – letter from college / university with the similar content as for the letter from the employer
- 6.2. - If self employed - include a copy of your business license and tax return
- 6.3. - If you are retired please submit proof of your retirement fund.
- Copy of Yellow Fever Certificate
- Pre-paid, self-addressed, special delivery envelope

- Be on company letterhead pape
- Include the name of the applicant
- State the purpose of journey
- Specify the requested number of entries and the length of visa required
- Copy of Yellow Fever Certificate
- Pre-paid, self-addressed, special delivery envelope
