Tourist and Business Visa

To visit Mozambique for tourism or for business purposes, most nationalities need a visa to enter the country. Exception to this are nationals from Botswana, Malawi, Mauritius, Swaziland, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe when traveling for Tourism. Mozambique Tourist visa

• Original passport, valid for at least 6 months beyond exit date with minimum 3 blank pages;
• Copy of first page of passport containing a photo;
• Application form, completed and signed;
• 2 recent passport size photographs;
• A copy of the return tickets or a copy of the flight confirmation;
• Hotel/Hostel booking confirmation and 1 (one) recent bank statement;
• Copy of Yellow Fever Certificate if travelling from a country with risk of Yellow Fever transmission, even in transit;
• Term of Responsibility (Must be signed by the host and authenticated by an official Notary) - if visiting family members or friends;
• A stamped, pre-paid, self-addressed special delivery envelope.

Mozambique Business visa

• Original passport, valid for at least 6 months beyond exit date with minimum 3 blank pages;
• Copy of first page of passport containing a photo;
• Application form, completed and signed;
• 2 recent passport size photographs;
• A copy of the return tickets or a copy of the flight confirmation;
• Hotel/Hostel booking confirmation and 1 (one) recent bank statement;
• Copy of Yellow Fever Certificate if travelling from a country with risk of Yellow Fever transmission, even in transit;
• Letter of invitation from the official or business institution in Mozambique or from the United Kingdom - if travelling for private/official business or volunteer activities;
• A stamped, pre-paid, self-addressed special delivery envelope.

All citizens entering in Mozambique from countries with risk of Yellow Fever transmission require Yellow Fever vaccination, even in transit. The countries with risk of Yellow Fever transmission are:
